arrowAllocations Policy 1 June 2009

With effect from 1 June 2009, greater choice will be available to people who are applying for affordable rented housing. From this date, applicants will have access to housing in East Staffordshire that are owned,not only by Trent & Dove Housing, but by partner associations.

As of the first of January 2008 it will be illegal for cookers not fitted with a Flame Supervision Device to every burner, to be installed in a flat or multiple occupancy dwelling.

The Government has announced that over the next few years the way we all receive our television signal will change from the current analogue system to a digital system.


arrowWho needs a TV Licence?

Anyone who uses any device to receive television programmes as they’re being shown on TV is required by law to hold a valid licence. This includes TV sets, video or DVD recorders, digital boxes, PCs, mobile phones and any other TV receiving equipment used to receive television programme services, including foreign broadcasts, and this applies whether or not you watch the BBC.
