Developments

We have been active in undertaking major refurbishments to our ‘non traditionally’ built properties.

Our first major new development has now been completed at Horninglow in Burton where 18 non traditional “Dykes” built homes have been demolished to make way for 16 new three bedroomed houses and 8 new two bedroomed bungalows. The Housing Corporation has agreed funding for six of these new homes. The bungalows have our FirstCall TwentyFour-seven emergency call equipment fitted and are classed as low-level sheltered accomodation, ideal for the more elderly or vulnerable residents. The development was officially handed over by Jim Coulter, Chief Executive of the National Housing Federation, who plated a tree and handed over flowers to the new residents of these modern, energy efficient homes.

A newsletter outlining future improvement plans is available.
