The long awaited demolition has started at Riversfield Drive Uttoxeter, where a £6.6million scheme will see 62 decrepit, concrete, deck access flats demolished to make way for a mixed development of 62 modern homes offering a choice of tenure type.
Besides transforming this area of Rocester, the new homes should give a boost to local people and help them onto the property ladder.
