Role of the Board

The Board of Management sets policies and has the overall responsibility to look after the residents interests and those of the company.

Following the successful completion of the transfer promises by Trent & Dove, East Staffordshire Borough Council has decided that it no longer has a requirement placing council representatives on the Trent & Dove Board. The constitution has therefore been changed and ratified so that the Board of Trent & Dove consists of 6 tenant representatives, elected by tenants and 6 independents who are chosen by the other board members in a structured selection process. There is also the option of co-opting up to a further 3 board members with specialist skills & expertise.

The Board has established the following standing committees:

• Operations Committee
• Finance Committee
• Personnel Committee
