Trent & Dove staff fundraising year
Anniversary year fundraising at Trent & Dove resulted in the local housing association handing over cheques for £2,500 each to its nominated charities, St. Giles Hospice and the Donna Louise Trust.
Burton based, Trent & Dove Housing was set up in 2001 for the transfer East Staffordshire Borough Council’s housing stock. During its 10th anniversary year, the company and its staff have taken part in various fund raising activities to raise money for its nominated charities. Cake sales, sponsored cycle rides, dress down days and raffles are just some of the ways in which the money was raised.
Chairman of Trent & Dove, John Jackson handed over the cheques to representatives from St Giles Hospice and Donna Louise Trust on behalf of the company. He said of the charities, “Both of these organisations do a fantastic job in what is a very stressful time for all those involved. The work that they do is highly valued and this is recognised by our staff, who chose them to be our nominated charities in 2011/12.”
