As a public service provider Trent & Dove Housing are subject to public procurement rules and guidelines. We utilise Xantive Tender Manager as a tender management tool. This allows the service to be truly transparent and is an easy to use tool for all tenderers and suppliers. This guides and simplifies the tender process from the initial advertisement to the contractual award.

Here at Trent & Dove Housing we operate three main tender types, these being, small quotes/lots and 'open' and 'restricted'. The values for these types of tender are highlighted below:



£0 - £6,000

Value for money exercise (Small Lots)

£6,000 - £25,000

Formal quotation process (Restrictive)

£25,000 - £164,176

Formal tender process (Open)

£164,176 +

OJUE tender process

The above are total contract values. Any value which is over £164,176 (for suppliers and Part A services) and £4,322.012 (for works), will be advertised through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).

Suppliers and Contractors can register through the Xantive Tender Manager system by following the process highlighted below:

  1. Go to our e-Portal
  2. If you have an account sign in, if not click on set up a new Organisation account and follow the instructions.
  3. Once you have signed in, click on Public Projects (Menu item, top right)
  5. Click on Accept Invitation, complete the questionnaire, and make sure you Submit it before the deadline.
  6. For support on accessing the system contact
  7. Any questions on the tender itself must be raised through the Messages Menu item inside the tender system itself.

The Xantive system in designed to highlight all required stages of the tender process. This involves the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire, if applicable and any other resultant process questions that are required of a tenderer to answer, as well as giving you, as a supplier, the opportunity to highlight all due diligence process that we would require you to evidence, i.e. levels of insurance and references.
