Coffee Connect - Combatting loneliness through coffee and chat
We are delighted to announce that in 2022 we were awarded a 'Healthy Partnership Grant' which, with the help of Support Staffordshire, aims to make a difference to the health and well-being of Staffordshire residents.
We're driven to make a difference in our communities and are constantly looking for new ways to achieve this. The grant funding is being used to launch “Coffee and Connect” one day per week for the next 12 months. The project is about connecting communities and reducing social isolation and loneliness through coffee and conversations. We'll also share information about what support is available in the local area.
Keep your eyes peeled for the bright orange Wellbeing Wagon. The vehicle, which is being leased as part of a new partnership with Circularity.org, will be visiting various locations in our communities where you'll be met by a friendly face offering free hot drinks and a chat.
