Update on Our Reception Closures

Our reception at Trinity Square remains closed to visitors, except for pre-arranged appointments...

The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has not stopped Trent & Dove from delivering the best possible service to our customers and we have always ensured that the safety of our customers and employees is our number one priority.

Over a number of weeks, we have seen some changes in the way we operate.  One of those changes has been allowing some members of our Customer Service Team to start working from the office in Trinity Square.

Although we may have some colleagues working from the Trinity Square office, our reception area still remains closed for walk in visits and we have started to adopt an appointment only system. This service is currently available at Trinity Square and will be rolled out at our office in Uttoxeter as soon as possible.

We would like to thank our customers for their continued patience and understanding during these unprecedented times and hope that you will agree that this is a positive step in easing the current lockdown restrictions.

  • What happens if I need to see a member of the Customer Service Team?

    Our Customer Service Team are still contactable Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm by calling 01283 528 528. You can also contact them via our Facebook page and website. If you have an emergency outside of these hours, please call 01283 528 528 where a member of our out of hours team will be able to help.

  • What if I have a pre-arranged appointment?

    If you have a pre-arranged appointment with someone from Trent & Dove, please arrive on time and wait outside of our reception area at Trinity Square. If there are other people waiting, please ensure that you adhere to the social distancing guidelines and stand 2 metres apart. You will then be collected by a member of staff and taken inside to your appointment.

    Only one household will be allowed in at any one time and the number of people within the household should be limited as far as possible.

    If you are showing any symptoms of the Coronavirus, please let us know before you attend the appointment, as you will not be able to access our offices. 

  • Will the reception area be safe for my appointment?

    We have carried out thorough risk assessments in our reception area to ensure that they are safe for any pre-arranged appointments with our customers. There are hand washing facilities available, a hand santising station and floor markings measuring social distancing. 

    All customer contact will be over the reception desk, through the cash office or in interview rooms where Perspex barriers are in place. 

  • Is the Uttoxeter reception open to visitors?

    Our reception at Uttoxeter remains closed at the moment, however we will be rolling out scheduled appointments there soon and will notify you via our website and Facebook page once these are being carried out.

  • What if I need to pay my rent by cash?

    We are unable to take cash payments at either of our receptions during the closure, with your green rent card you can pay you rent at any post office, anywhere displaying a PayPoint sign, online through Allpay or by calling us on 01283 528 528. It is important you continue to make payments as usual.

  • What if I need to book in a repair?

    To raise a repair please fill in a form by clicking here. Alternatively you can call our Customer Service Team to arrange a repair on 01283 528 528.

  • What if I need to hand in any documents?

    You can hand in any documents by placing them in the post boxes provided outside of our Trinity Square and Uttoxeter offices. Please do not leave any personal documentation such as your birth certificate or passport. Photocopies or photographs of these documents can be sent to us by email to

  • What if I need to collect a housing registration form?

    You can download and print a housing registration form from here. If you do not have access to a printer, please let us know and we will post one out to you.

    To return your form, please post it to Trent & Dove Housing, Trinity Square, Horninglow Street, Burton on Trent DE14 1BL or place it in the post box provided outside of our reception areas.
