Trent & Dove Inaugural Golf Day
Corporate News, News
Trent & Dove Housing were thrilled to host their very first Golf Day on Tuesday 23rd October, which brought together business colleagues and partners from 10 organisations. The event was held to raise money for their 13th annual Impact on the Community Awards which will take place on Friday 2nd November.
A cloudy and cold start to the day did not discourage the golfers who arrived at The Branston Golf and Country Club, greeted with a huge breakfast baguette!
The day was opened by Mark Gormley, Property Director of Trent & Dove, with a welcome to all of the contractors and partners that supported the day.
Partners on the day included Novus, Orchard Systems, Onsite, Hardy Signs, Taylor French Developments, Astle Paterson Solicitors, Edmundson Electrical, CWH Surveyors and LH Electrical.
Following some great play (and a few lost balls in the many ditches, fountains and ponds!) Steven Norman from Orchard Systems won nearest the pin on the 10th hole and Dean Kirby from Onsite won the longest drive.
The game was scored by the Stableford points system, the top two scores were taken from each team and calculated as their overall score. The winners on the day were the Hardy Signs team with a fantastic 76 points. Closely followed in 2nd place by CWH Surveyors who scored 74 points. The team in 3rd place were Edmundson Electrical who scored 73 points.
A great day was had by all and a total of £900.00 was raised towards the Impact on the Community Awards.
