Rural Housing Week, Hill Ridware
Customer News, News
This week is Rural Housing Week and we are really proud that some of homes are situated in rural locations.
One of our latest developments is located in Hill Ridware which is a small village situated near Rugeley, Staffordshire. It is the largest settlement in the civil parish of Mavesyn Ridware, with a population of approximately 500. Facilities in the village include one public house and the Henry Chadwick Primary School.
The development is currently still under construction and will provide 18 homes in total. 8 homes will be available for shared ownership sale and 10 will be available for affordable rent, which include; 2 bungalows, 4 flats and 4 houses.
The first 4 homes were handed over in June 2019 and the rest will be ready to be handed over between July and October this year.
The scheme is a rural exception site which means that it has been developed in close partnership with Lichfield District Council. There is also a strict criteria for allocating and selling the properties, meaning that customers must have a strong local connection to the area. This is to ensure that the homes are allocated to local people.
If you are interested in buying or renting one of our properties in Hill Ridware and have a local connection to the area, please feel free to give us a call on 01283 528 528.
