A person or group with dedication to supporting and guiding young people.  Nominees could be working in a professional or voluntary basis and can show ongoing commitment and understanding in their field of work.

Criteria

  • How can understanding of young peoples needs be evidenced?
  • How did the individual/organisation involve young people?
  • What factors have been put in place to encourage development of work already achieved with younger people?

Last year, this award was won by Lewis Anderson

Lewis at the age of 13 was one of the original founders of FISH 2013. Since then he has gained coaching qualifications enabling him to coach others and gives talks to inspire them to replicate what he has achieved. Currently a student at De Ferrers Academy he is committed to his community giving up his time to improve the lives of other young people.

    • Winners are chosen by the Trent & Dove judging panel, from a shortlist. The team considers every nomination received.
    • We may consider your nomination in a different category if the judges decide it is appropriate.
    • Information you submit as part of the nomination may be shared at the event and for any pre, during and post publicity.
    • The judging panel chooses who they feel are the most deserving winners, regardless of the number of nominations received.
    • Trent & Dove’s Privacy Policy will apply to all nominations.
