Health & Safety / CDM Manager

Are you an enthusiastic and self-motivated health & safety professional with experience of working in the housing, construction, facilities management or public services sector? Do you want to work for a high performing organisation that is committed to excellence in occupational health & safety management?

We are looking for an experienced health & safety professional to appoint into a new role to lead our Health & Safety Team in providing advice and support across Trent & Dove and to develop, implement and monitor the performance of our Health & Safety Management System.

 Ideally you will be CMIOSH or working towards it with a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and will have at least 5 years proven ability in a senior health & safety role.

 We need a team player who can coach, motivate and inspire people to work safely, promoting a positive health & safety culture and encouraging full participation of  colleagues in health and safety matters.  Good IT and communication skills are essential as is a confident and flexible approach and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.  Experience in a construction/building maintenance environment will be distinctly advantageous.
