The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general joinery maintenance to our housing stock as part of our voids and responsive maintenance services. You should have strong joinery maintenance knowledge, gained ideally within a housing/domestic setting.
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds in joinery. You will have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills and hold a full UK driving licence.
We are looking to recruit a plumber with the relevant trade qualification and additional multi trades skills to join our in house Repairs Team working on void and tenanted properties. The ideal candidate will have served a recognised plumbing apprenticeship and will have additional skills in particular joinery, tiling and plastering. Experience of unvented hot water systems and basic gas installations is advantageous. A gas qualification would also be desirable.
MULTI SKILLED OPERATIVE-WET TRADES
We are looking to recruit a wet trade multi-skilled operative to carry out general maintenance works such as brickwork repairs, plastering, groundworks, footpaths, fencing, roof tiling and guttering to our housing stock.
You will ideally have served an apprenticeship in Brickwork or plastering or obtained an equivalent NVQ level 3 and the proven ability of working as a maintenance bricklayer/plasterer in a domestic environment.
The successful candidates will ensure all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision to diagnose faults and deliver effective solutions to our customers. You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First Time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas.
