  • Training & Development

    Trent & Dove Housing makes a commitment to provide training to develop its staff in the achievement of a high level of competence in the provision of Housing Services.

    Trent & Dove recognises that its future depends on the ability and commitment of staff to provide and, to improve the services and service delivery continually.  Therefore, we will ensure that:

    • Employees’ are positively encouraged to undertake training and development opportunities to assist them and the business with its requirements.

  • Work Experience & Apprenticeships

    We provide opportunities to gain hands-on work experience to our local community.

    Working closely with local schools; colleges and our own Employment Liaison Advisor, we offer work experience opportunities for those with an interest in Housing. For those at school and college, it gives you an idea of working life after full-time education and it looks great on a CV. 

    We employ up to 8 Apprentices throughout the Business.  Working closely with Burton & South Derbyshire College and other training providers, we are able to offer Apprenticeships with recognised qualifications in Business Administration, Customer Services, Finance, I.T, Horticulture and Trades.
