We are a housing association, otherwise referred to as a Registered Provider, providing affordable housing for rent and part (shared) ownership across East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire. With effect from the 1st April 2009, Trent & Dove Housing Limited became a charitable industrial and provident society registered with the Financial Services Authority.
Through our local offices in Burton & Uttoxeter, we offer homes for families, younger people, older people and for those with special needs. We also work with East Staffordshire Borough Council to provide quality advice and services to homeless and vulnerable people.
We are committed to ensuring that information about our services is available to everyone and we use the services of "Language Line" to help us with specialist language needs. We will continue to investigate and implement alternative methods of communicating with our customers.

Situation Vacant - Non Executive Director, Chair of Audit Committee
Trent & Dove is a dynamic, top performing housing association based in Burton upon Trent and Uttoxeter.
We have an impressive portfolio of new developments including a purpose built extracare scheme and provide a diverse range of support services.
The Trent & Dove Board is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Chair for the Audit Committee who can provide effective leadership to the committee and a relationship with us that is characterised by the highest levels of integrity, accountability and candour.
We would be particularly interested in hearing from people with relevant and recent financial or audit skills. An understanding of the social housing sector may be an advantage but of primary importance is the ability to understand and respect the role and responsibilities of the Audit Committee.
As a member of the board you will help direct strategy and contribute to decision making. You must be willing to give a commitment of both time and energy. Main board meetings are held 10 times a year and the Audit Committee meets 4 times a year. Meetings take place in the evening starting at 5.00pm. You will also need to be able to attend 3 full day strategy events and some training.
