Welcome to our 18th Impact on the Community Awards!

Impact on the Community Award 2024 We're delighted and proud our 2024 awards will mark our third year in partnership with Burton Albion Community Trust . Together, we're excited to announce our host for this year's event will be the actor, comedian and impressionist, Jon Culshaw, regarded by many as the most versatile impressionist in the UK with a catalogue of over 350 characters and numerous tv and radio credits.

The awards recognise and celebrate the positive contributions made by many individuals and organisations to their local communities. They also emulate our aim of transforming homes, lives & communities. Last year’s event was highly successful and highlighted the wealth of good work that is being done by both organisations and individuals. Please read the award criteria for each of the categories, below and complete the simple form to submit your entry. You may nominate yourself, an organisation (owned by you or another person) or an individual, but please ask for their permission first.

The closing date for applications is Friday 8 December 2023. Shortlisted applicants (and those who have nominated them where appropriate) will be invited to attend the awards ceremony and evening on Thursday 18 April at the Pirelli Stadium, Burton upon Trent.

Thanks to our partners who have sponsored the awards and thank you once again for your interest. Good luck!

Making a nomination

The quickest and easiest way to submit a nomination is online using the form below, which enables you to save your entry as you go and revisit it to make any changes right up to the closing date. However, we will also accept paper applications if you're unable to complete online, please email: communityengagement@trentanddove.org and we'll post a form out to you.

When completing the form, please refer to the judging criteria, this will ensure you provide all the information needed. Please include your nominee's notable achievements during 2023. Nominations can be supported by work undertaken outside of this date range, however, the main focus should be on events during 2023.

And remember...

More is more! Our judges can only mark what they read. The more information you provide us with the better chance they have of winning an award. Remember we don’t know them like you do! We need you to paint a picture to evidence just how much they have done to earn this award. As a rule of thumb, we’d suggest 500 words (roughly one side of A4).

All nominations must be received by no later than Friday 8 December 2023.

Thank you and good luck.
