Our Board
Meet the Board
Trent & Dove is run by a Management Board, made up of 10 members, including Trent & Dove customers. The board drives our strategy, ensuring we make the best business decisions.
The board is ultimately responsible for the overall control of the business and steers and directs the business to achieve its key targets set out in our Strategic Plan
The regulator monitors how well we do this; you’ll find our latest reports by clicking here. In November 2025, the regulator confirmed Trent & Dove retains its top grading of G1 for governance and V2 for financial viability – the second highest grading, following its annual stability check.
We also listen and learn from complaint feedback. Find out more in our Annual Complaints and Service Improvement report and from our latest Complaint Handling Code Self Assessment
Trent & Dove also has an Executive Team who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation.
How does your background support Trent & Dove
With my background in asset management, I help organisations think about their long-term investment plan: what needs to be built, maintained, replaced, and ensured that it is done cost effectively and safely to deliver the right service.
I also have a background in customer research and engagement - talking to customers about what they want from the organisation.
What is the most fulfilling part of being a Board member?
We think about the future and challenge and support. We are helping make a massive impact on the Burton community by providing initiatives like the Coffee Connect van and Warm Spaces cafes. The homes we provide allow people a safe space to grow families and make a difference in the world.
What attracted you to Trent & Dove?
It is transformative. This isn’t just about meeting the minimum standard; it is about trying to make a difference in the homes we run and transform communities. It’s bold to say we positively impact these spaces, but boldness and bravery are essential to make a massive difference.
What have been the highlights of your role?
Looking at how Trent & Dove supports community groups. We had an evening where organisations informed us about their work, whether that was in the Warm Spaces cafes or community gardens. It was great to see positive work and transformation due to those projects.
How does the Board ensure that Trent & Dove is embracing ED&I?
We have a role in demonstrating that improving ED&I is essential, creating a sense of urgency around making change. We are also responsible for living the values we seek to promote through our actions and communication.
What is your favourite quote or philosophy that inspires you?
‘Show me, don’t tell me’. As an auditor and investment planner, I hear stories about managing things or prioritising work. Sometimes the stories are true, and sometimes they aren’t. I am always interested in seeing the evidence and proof rather than listening to a story about it. We want to see first-hand how we are supporting our customers, rather than just being told they are being supported.
